Devotion Mama

Everyday Mommy Moments.  A Heavenly Perspective.

For the word of God is alive and active . . . Hebrews 4:12

Christy is first a worshiper, second a wife, and third a mother.  She was created for worship and relationship.  A wife to Samuel and mother to three boys ages 3 and under.  She loves blogging and social media, but much prefers to spend time with family and friends in person with a mocha anything in hand.  She has dishes in her sink and Jesus in her heart.  She is surrounded by dinosaurs, cars, diapers, and sweetness.

Making The Most Of It

Ephesians 5:13-17

Eryn and her family live in Mansfield, where she makes the most of every single, God-given day. She is devoted to Jesus, is madly in love with her husband, and considers mothering a calling. She homeschools her children, drinks a lot of coffee, and thanks God daily for her friends. Eryn is a frugal homemaker, somewhat crafty, fond of natural and organic foods, and founder of Gorbella’s. During naptime, you can find MamaHall here: Making the Most of It, here@MamaHall on Twitter, and here on Facebook.

She is a mom, part time Social Media Specialist for Blue Volcano Media, and the author of Conscientious Confusion, a blog about living consciously. Heather

God Centered Mom

My name is Heather MacFadyen. I am a speech language pathologist who stays home full time with my three boys-aged 5,3, & 1. I recently launched “God Centered Mom” based on my awareness of my own issues with pride. The center of pride is service to self. To live humbly God must be the center. The goal of “God Centered Mom” is to encourage moms to exchange self-centeredness with God-centeredness. Motherhood is hard and it feels like we are always giving and doing for others. However, if we give of ourselves and still expect to be the center the result is constant humiliation and frustration. Instead, if we chose to daily clothe ourselves in humility, by placing God in the center, we are free to serve our families with joy and bring God glory.
